Rooms with enormous hits of metallic have the potential to go a little Liberace, but when they’re done with restraint they can also be completely stunning. These spaces mix shiny surfaces with plenty of matte materials, letting the statement metallics shine. (Pun intended.) I’m in love with the look!
We live in a rental so remodels are tough, but the right accessories would lend a similar feel in smaller doses. My picks are below. The metal pieces would patina over time, which is a nice added bonus.
Items: sage smudge / pillow / ice cream scoop / scissors / bowl / cutting board / bottle opener / throw / sugar and creamer

I was at Target over Christmas going gaga over all of the decorations. I turned to Annie and said very seriously, “I want ALL of the shiny things.” A woman farther down in the aisle burst into laughter. It was a perfect tiny moment.

The metallic wall of the bathroom in pic#1 is so striking. Love that one especially though each of the rooms has appeal. Your chosen accessories are typical of your good taste. A lovely post Natalie. Thanks. Regards, Deb

Love this mix! Is that Erica Tanov’s Marin shop (#2)?
