2010 went out with a bang. Chris told me he won a massage for two from work. He said his appointment was a few minutes after mine, and silly me, I believed him. In reality, he dropped me off, left, and then came back to pick me up (and raved about his supposed massage the whole way home so I didn’t suspect anything). When we got home, the whole apartment was spotless and glimmering with Christmas lights and fresh flowers. And then he proposed.
