Peplum + Plaid

H&M peplum top, Asos pencil skirt, KORS Michael Kors booties, clutch c/o Free Endearment, bangles and cuff c/o Samantha Wills

Closet conundrum — I’m doing a little spring cleaning and I’m having a hard time deciding what jackets to give away. I have to say, I wear the ugliest coat I own pretty frequently.  It’s my go-to when I head out to bar on the weekend because I could care less if people spill on it or steal it. People have certainly spilled on it, but unfortunately I doubt it would ever get stolen – unless the thief didn’t have very good taste.

You’re so funny! I love the story of your coat. Sometimes I worry about bringing my nice coats for a night out and specially having to check them. I got a cute JCrew jacket stolen that way, it was a very popular one from a few years ago and since then, I do not check my coat at all.

I love the textured shirt and plaid skirt combination! As for the jacket issue, I’m with you. My favorite coat (bright red wool) is on it’s last legs and I hate the idea of getting rid of it.

Beautiful! Love those shoes and skirt….and I’m totally with you on the coat, one time someone dropped a cigarette on my coat in a bar and burned a hole in it.

Such a great pattern combo. That skirt is such a classic piece too.

Ha, I had a go-to jacket that I would wear out in SF all the time that wasn’t too cute… I thankfully left it behind when moving to NY. 😉
