On our trip to Half Moon Bay this weekend, we made a stop at the nursery to buy a few herbs I’ve been wanting for our porch. We ended up buying some mint, tarragon and rosemary. My first instinct was that we should probably name them so they stood a better chance of staying alive, but I decided against it since something feels weird about eating your pet plants.

Anyway, I originally intended to buy regular mint for making tea, but instead when I saw they had mojito mint, it was clear there was a better beverage ingredient to be had.

Oh, I would have totally gone for the mojito mint too. I just found a good recipe for a strawberry mojito. Perfect for the summer.

Hey girl- yellow is fabulous on you! I love this post! I recently planted a whole window box of herbs myself with garlic chives, cilanto, basil and spearmint- for some reason the little bugs love to gobble up the mint though- GRR! :-(
