I would love to make homemade pies and whatnot for the holidays, but that hasn’t happened quite yet (ever). However I do watch more Martha Stewart and indulge in seasonal specialties this time of year, (albeit mostly of the Trader Joe’s variety). I’m partial to the spiced cider and pumpkin butter. And nothing like cozy clothes and a little fair isle to put me in the wintery mood.

Nasty Gal leggings (similar here), Zara scarf and sweater (similar in a cream color), Urban Outfitters button down and boots (similar shirt here), H&M bag

I am still searching for the perfect fair aisle sweater this winter! Love the leggings, and I’m with you on the pies….yup not gonna happen atleast not from scratch!

Those leggings are so incredibly adorable. And only $48?! SOLD.

PS — I worked for two years as a TJ’s demo employee in DC, and I can’t even tell you how many pounds I would gain as soon as the seasonal treats started coming in. Seriously. I think the peppermint Jo-Jo’s are my biggest weakness, but the pumpkin whoopie pies are a close second.
