Flora & Fauna Mashup

Some flora/fauna eye candy I just had to share. I’ve built up quite the collection of pretty plant outtakes from shooting around the Bay area between Pacifica, San Francisco and Sonoma. Anyone know what kind of tree is pictured here? Not sure what these are, but I love how spooky their trunks look.

These brightened up my grey day here on the east coast – beautiful:) The tree looks almost like a fig, but the bark is wrong – more peely, like cypress. So I have no idea, but it’s lovely!

The flora is lovely (especially that last shot), but I don’t seen any fauna…

Lovely. I also thought the tree might be a cypress. Beautiful curves and textures.

Natalie, that picture of grass is so frame-worthy–if you don’t, can I, please?? :)

These ‘twisty trees’ ,as I call them, are all over Golden Gate Park. Wish I knew what they were called!
