For awhile there I felt like the only acceptable pants were either skinny or pleated. It was around a year or two ago that I tried unsuccessfully to sell a couple pairs of flare and bootcut jeans to a stylish secondhand store only to be told those cuts were too passé. 1. So glad you kept those jeans. I love wide leg jeans and they look perfect on you. Isn’t funny how sometimes we try to get rid of clothes and them for some reason those styles are back in the fashion scene again? I remember that happening with a couple of my military jackets from a few years back.

  2. I’m so relieved that flares are back in style, and I’m thinking about adopting a policy that as far as pants are concerned, extremes are the best: a slim leg or a wide one. Of course, an in-between trend will come in soon enough and I’ll revamp my stance, I’m sure.

I love the whole menswear thing with the flare jean. So 70s, and yet so timeless. As always, that hat is great on you.

  3. this is so cool. I love the pastel tones of this all because even the light wash denim fits right in! I like flares but find that most fit me highwaters! Must find a pair that solves this!

  4. LOL. I saved all of my wide leg and boot cut jeans also. Love this look so cute! Especially the hat!

  5. I can see you have an obsession with J.Crew as big as me!! I love there clothes and luckily now I work there so my whole closet is becoming it lol
